Michael Seamus

Born and raised in East Syracuse, I live with my wife and daughter in the same house I grew up in. I love SU basketball. My wife and I spend our Sunday afternoons on a bowling league. When I’m not with my family (and sometimes even when I am), I’m often performing, rehearsing, or recording something musical or dramatic. I’m a HUGE sci-fi and fantasy nerd. I promise… you don’t know more about Star Trek and Lord of the Rings than I do!

When you are not in the studio, where can we find you?
I play in a bunch of bands including a one featuring Celtic music with Sean from TK’s Irish Power Hour. I’m the Music Director of a local church. As often as possible, I also enjoy voicing audio books, especially with Syracuse’s own Full Cast Audio Studios.

3 words that describe you?
Creative, Independent, Dedicated

What is the worst sound in the world?
Billie Eilish

What’s in your fridge right now?
Yogurt sleeves, grapes, apple sauce pouches… yup, I have a toddler.

What famous person would you like to have lunch with?
Sir Patrick Stewart

Salty or sweet?
Sweet, especially when combined with spicy!

If you had 5 days to hit the road by yourself, what direction would you head?
On day one, I would tell everyone that I was heading West, and then secretly camp out in my home studio writing music, playing NBA 2K, and generally enjoying the peace and solitude that comes along with no one knowing where you are!

What was the first car you ever owned?
Technically, my first car was a used 1987 Dodge Shadow, but its transmission didn’t work so I returned it immediately and bought a brand new Geo Metro. In the first two days of owning it, I got in three accidents, two at the same exact intersection! I didn’t own another car for 10 years.

Favorite app on your smartphone?
Google Calendar… it’s not fun or cool, but without it I would be lost

Favorite sport to watch?
Basketball, basketball, and basketball.
