The Exercise Wheel

It was tough to get into a routine but now that I am firmly entrenched, I actually get antsy if I can’t do some exercise. And that is one of the great by-products of regular exercise…you want more and it’s good for you. I workout at Personal Fitness in downtown Syracuse. I can’t believe I just said I workout but I do. By summer, I will be adding lunchtime walks…but never along the creek walk downtown. That stinks.

I Can’t Quite Place You

You look familiar but I can’t quite come up with your name. Remembering names has always been tough for me. I should have employed some of the mental tricks I have read about…like red hair..rosy cheeks..must be Rudy. Hopefully you will introduce yourself.

My Mind Is Racing

For every cold and snowy day we had last winter, we get a non-snowy day this year. Shutterfly.com is my favorite time waster. I am enjoying Twitter more than Facebook. Cowardice is an ugly trait. Truth hurts. Reading the Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe and it’s a snore.

&^%$# New Year’s Revolution

Going to try and give up swearing.  Must be the company I keep because I did not learn these words at home. Somehow they just tumble out of my mouth when I am frustrated  but just the same, I am going to try and zip my lip. I plan on substituting nonsense words  like “Shut the door” and “fudge in my eye”.  I’ll let you know how it goes.

Undressing the Tree

So I’m thinking, how fast can I undecorate this once beautiful Christmas tree and get it out the door to where it can drop the rest of its needles. Which isn’t saying much. This poor tree is definitely in the Charlie Brown tree category now, so dry and spindly. I’ll admit that I actually think about packing away all the holiday decos as soon as the last guest is out the door on Christmas night. I’m ready to move ahead to next year.
